Data Request Summary |
Maine Health Data Organization has, in accordance with Chapter 120:
Release of Data to the Public, instituted a process for the purpose of
notifying users and providers of health care information when this agency
receives a request for health data and accepts that request as a project. Below
is a summary page which will list the current accepted projects.
Data providers or other interested parties may submit to the Executive Director
in writing or via electronic mail comments related to the requesting party
and/or the proposed use of the data no later than ten business days after the
date posted below. For data requests that include identifiable practitioner
data elements, data providers or other interested parties shall have thirty
business days to submit comments. Within the thirty day period, the Executive
Director shall establish a data advisory committee composed of two members of
the MHDO Board, two members of the Maine Health Data Processing Board, a
representative from the Maine Quality Forum, and representatives from the Maine
based practitioner professional associations and/or affiliated medical
specialty organizations associated with the potentially impacted practitioners
to assist with the review of the data request.
